Acceptable Use Policy
Draft pending legal review. Prepared during development; must be reviewed and approved by qualified counsel before launch.
This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. It sets out what you must not do with our service. We enforce it.
Prohibited uses
You must not use the service to:
Defraud anyone. This includes uploading tracking to a marketplace to make a buyer believe a shipment exists when it does not, to delay or avoid a refund, to defeat a chargeback, or to obtain payment for goods you did not send.
Misrepresent a shipment. Presenting a record as describing your parcel, when it was not drawn from your own connected carrier account and does not correspond to a shipment you created.
Evade platform enforcement. Using our records to circumvent a marketplace's verification, seller-performance monitoring, account suspension, or any similar control.
Present sandbox data as real. Sandbox values are prefixed TEST, exist nowhere, and must never be supplied to a marketplace, buyer, or any third party as a genuine tracking number.
Abuse our systems. Automated scraping, credential stuffing, sharing or reselling API keys, circumventing rate limits, creating multiple accounts to evade limits or suspension, or probing our infrastructure without written authorisation.
Resell or sublicense. Reselling records or access to the service, or providing them to third parties as your own product, without a written agreement with us.
Operate from a restricted region, or assist anyone in doing so, or misrepresent your location to pass our region checks.
Break the law. Any use that is unlawful in your jurisdiction, ours, or the jurisdiction of the buyer or platform concerned — including sanctions breaches, money laundering, and the sale of prohibited goods.
Uses that are within policy
For clarity, these are fine:
- Retrieving tracking for shipments you created through your own connected carrier account.
- Development, testing and reconciliation work, particularly using sandbox mode.
- Recovering a tracking reference for a shipment you genuinely created and whose record you have lost.
If your intended use is not obviously on this list, ask us before you buy. We would rather decline a sale than deal with the consequences later.
How we enforce this
We monitor for patterns consistent with abuse — unusual velocity, destination anomalies, signup patterns, and reports from third parties. Where we detect a possible breach we may place an account into manual review, restrict it, suspend it, or terminate it.
Serious or ongoing breaches result in immediate suspension without notice. We do not refund on termination for breach.
We cooperate with legitimate legal process, and we may report conduct we believe to be criminal to the relevant authorities.
Reporting misuse
If you believe someone is using our service to defraud buyers or breach a platform's rules, tell us. We investigate every report.
